A large Multinational Corporate is looking for Treasury Market Capital Analyst. This role requires a candidate to have a strong background with working capital and have good knowledge and experience with quants.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
Reporting into the Capital Markets Manager they will be a key member of the Core Treasury team and will work closely with the rest of the Treasury function and wider Group finance departments.
The Capital Markets Analyst will help support the businesses enhance analytical rigour into cash forecasting process.
Work with the Treasury Operations Manager to support the analysis of optimal deployment of working capital levers and managing intrinsic interest basis risk embedded within. Working with the Group finance team to support analysis for financial reporting / assessment of accounting treatment.
The Capital Markets Analyst will support on areas of working capital optimisation, looking to assess optimal currency curves and optimal times to lock in swap rates;
Key Support for assessing optimal strategy for the most risk efficient all in rate for c$100-$500m of deposits held and considering the overall security and counterparty profile into this criteria assessment framework.
Insurance Review - Working with insurance brokers to assess the optimal overall cost of risk transfer, for the c20m cost centre, with approx. $10Bn at risk assets globally;
Deputising for the Senior Treasury Managers, over time, and visibly demonstrating leadership in the Treasury team within the analytical framework of their role
Covering for the Capital Markets Manager as required
Supporting wider Treasury aspects of refinancing
Supporting the analysis for credit insurance / surety bond products, to assess the most efficient long-term structures/solutions for both projects and business as usual, covering the c100m of existing surety bonds, the c1bn customers credit insurance programme and assessment of use within SPV Structures.
